Alex Bewley is a computer scientist with a B.Sc.H in Computer Science from Queen’s University, and has over 12 years of professional experience in the computer industry in a variety of roles and disciplines. He brings an uncanny ability to understand and speak in both deeply technical and business terms, bridging the chasm between business needs and technology. Before uptime, Alex spent time with Sun Microsystems. Since 2000, when he co-founded uptime software, he has been instrumental in the development of their up.time™ software product. |

Ken Cheung has a degree in Computer Engineering specialized in Robotics and Real-Time Computing Architecture. He spent his career working in the fields of Business Intelligence and Health-Care Risk Management before tackling Systems Management. As a technologist with a broad desire to couple human issues with technology trends, he has held positions across the entire spectrum of possible roles at the successful software start-ups he has been a part of. Ken enjoys presenting new ideas to people in ways that make them comfortable with new technology. His quest to become an “alpha geek” continues with uptime software. |

His well-rounded background combined with a no-nonsense, pedal to the metal attitude makes him a great fit in a high-growth, fast-moving company like uptime. Mike has made his primary mission at uptime very clear: happy clients. Mike will be working closely with our clients to understand their needs and develop services and internal processes that ensure a positive client experience. Joel Pereira is a Computer Program and Analysis graduate from Seneca College. After graduating, he started his career at uptime as a Client Services Engineer. He quickly established himself as a seasoned technical professional and moved into the role of Solutions Architect. A strong technical background combined with polished client facing skills, Joel is able to make clients feel at ease with complex technical concepts and guide them towards the best possible outcome. Outside of the office, you can find Joel on the road in one of his several “toys”. The latest, a Honda CBR600F4I. |
